The Rockhurst Hawks dropped their first-round match in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships, falling to Indianpolis 5-1 Friday in  Indianapolis in St. Louis. The loss leaves the Hawks with a 7-7 record.

Alex Schelble and Jessica Koraleski combined to win in No. 2 doubles by an 8-4 score. The Hawks lost the other two doubles matches, 8-6 and 8-2. Emma Schleble, Alex Schelble and Maddy Kayser fell in singles.
