The Rockhurst men's tennis team was awarded the No. 5 seed in the Midwest Regional of the 2013 NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Championship. Rockhurst, 13-7, will face fourth-seeded Ferris State, 15-5, in a first-round match on Saturday, April 27 at 1 p.m. at the University of Southern Indiana Tennis Courts in Evansville, Ind.

Southern Indiana captured the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament to earn the No. 1 seed in the Midwest Region. The Screaming Eagles will play the winner between Rockhurst and Ferris State at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 28. If weather affects the matches, the matches will be moved to the Evansville Tennis Center. All matches are free admission.

Northwood, the champions of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Conference, received the No. 2 seed in the Midwest and will host third-seeded Drury and sixth-seeded Ohio Dominican.

The winners at each regional site will advance to the round of 16 at the NCAA Division II National Championship in Surprise, Ariz.
